Collaborated with executive team leadership for upcoming campus events. Acquired guest speakers for Reproductive Workshop in February 2022. Organized a discussion on articles and documentaries relating to abortion services.

Designed trauma-centered book club for RVUCOM students. Spearheaded marketing efforts on two campuses for four-part series. Coordinated logistics for the series events focused on Adverse Childhood Experiences, LGBTIQ+ Inclusive Care, Addiction Medicine, and Disability Competency.

Senior Clinical Research Coordinator / PRA

CU Anschutz - Renal Transplant Division, Aurora, CO

Collaborated with principal investigators and sub-investigators to drive enrollment of clinical trial patients in a high-demand clinic setting serving over 80 patients per day. Redesigned patient education materials and standard procedure guidelines. Enhanced understanding of patient needs through education and follow-up of participants of different backgrounds. Revamped and directed training protocols for patient coordinators. Conducted study visits, including participant interviews and sample collection.

Summer Research Intern

Children's Hospital, Aurora, CO

Worked within the Pediatric Endocrinology lab under Dr. Melanie Green MD and Dr. Kelly Fuller PhD. Reviewed literature related to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in children. Completed IRB documentation for research project on NAFLD, adolescents, and androgens. Entered data for over 200 patients with liver biopsies within a 5 year period.

Supported Level 1 Trauma Center in creation of research team. Abstracted and analyzed data for Investigator Initiated studies of +500 patients.

In addition to fundraising efforts, I coordinated events for my sorority members to work with children with vision impairments at the center.

Interests

Apart from studying medicine, I spend my time doing yoga, speaking different languages, playing chess, and working on film photography. I also have a wonderful but mischevious cat, Pluto.
